The I.I.A. Award will be released from ARI to all OM and SWL that can demonstrate their membership to A.R.I. or to a IARU affiliate Society, and that should have made connections/listening with marine Islands and different Groups

Only connections/listenings made starting from January the 1.st 1980 are considered valid.

The award can be requested for:

1. Fixed Stations

2. Portable Station

3. Via Satellite (any input-output mode).

QSO made through terrestrial repeaters or transponders, except linear transponders on board of, are not considered valid.

For the award request the following type of connections/listening are needful:

A score list will be compiled, divided in bands, mode, islands and groups, and then published on ARI official magazine and ARI official web-sites

To allow the release of the award it is necessary to send the extract of the log, correctly signed, detailed with all QSO/HRD done, and the confirmation that relative QSL cards are owned by the requester, understanding the Award Manager authority of requesting copies of those QSL.

The base award cost is 10,00 Eur.
