DX Results

Dear Contesters,
it is a great pleasure to present you the DX Results of the ARI International DX Contest 2019.
The condition were once again bad this year, the only usable bands for DX QSOs were 20m and 40m. Overall, the log received this year are 1296, with an increase of about 14% respect to last year. DX logs were 975, while the Italian ones were 321.
As last year, the SWL log received were 20, divided in 13 logs from DX site and 7 Italians.
In the following pages you will find the overall results by Contest Categories and then, the same results, by Country and Categories to make it easier to see what your result has been against the rest of the world or within your own country.

Now let’s have a look at the results.
In the Multi-Operator Single TX category ES9C (op: ES5JR YL3JA ES5ZF) takes the first place, SV3DCX (op: SV3DCX SV3QUP)  finishes in second place and EU1WW (op: EU1W EW3-008) takes the third one. In the Multi-Operator Multi TX category LZ9W (op: LZ1AA LZ1VS LZ1WDX LZ3FM) wins while YU1ANO (op: YU1RA YU1FX) finishes second.

In the Single-Operator CW HP category Alex UR7GO wins; while Milen LZ5R (op: LZ5DB) and Yuri Plamen LZ8R finish respectively on second and third place. In the SO CW LP the first place goes to Vlad EU8U¸ Algirdas LY3B finish in the second one and Ivo 9A1AA takes the third position.
In the Single-Operator Mixed HP category Alexander EV1R take the first position; the second place goes to Rimantas LY6A and Jo UT4U finishes once again third. In the SO MIX LP, Roman RW7F wins the first place, while Pavlo EN5V (op: UX1VT) gets the second place while EU6DX finishes in the third place.
In the SO RTTY HP category Nick, EM0I (op UT2IZ), confirms the last year’s first place, while Vlad UA6CE gets the second place and Vasily, DJ9DZ, finishes third. In the SO RTTY LP Dieter, DF2F, wins, while Vesa, OH3P, gains a position with respect to last year and finishes second and Vladimir, UZ1WW, finishes on the third position.

In the Single-Operator SSB section Sergey, RW1F, wins, with Andrey RT2C in second place; Tom SM7DQV gets the third position. In the Single Operator SSB Low Power category, Theodoros SV1EJD confirms the first place, Adrian YO5OBA confirms the second place and and Germann OZ1KVM finishes in third place;
In the SWL category, Rafal SP7-003-24 wins, the second place goes to Stanislav LZ1G42 and in the third place finishes Gennadiy UA3182SWL.
In the next page you will found the complete results table and the operator list. At the end of the results tables you will be able to read what the participants wrote in their SOAPBOX: DX QRM!!
Next year rules will be published soon on the ARI website. No rules change is planned for next year.
The “ARI International DX Contest” contest could not be the same without the participation of the DX station, so thanks to all for participating!
